Xiaomi now has a 17% cuota in cellphone sales, with an 83% increase compared to the last trimester. Other Chinese companies like Oppo and Vivo have also seen a big increase on their sales. In general terms, the smartphone industry has increased sales by 12% this trimester.
This is very good news for us, the reparation industry, because this means, more broken phones, more repairs and more income.
Who has the first place in the market share? Samsung, with a 19% cuota and a 15% increase in sales versus the last trimester.
What to expect in the future? That Xiaomi will definitely go after Samsung and try to be the best-selling smartphone brand. The only thing we can do is wait, see what happens, but always be prepared.
